NUTRITION
The dog requires to be fed in a certain manner, and it is the chore of the dog's owner. Although the dog is considered to possess a fault of being a gourmand, and although he seems to possess the uncommon digestive abilities, and it is enough to see him gnawing some old dubious bone, dug into ground a long time ago, it is still not good for him to eat the way his owners do, and even more it is not sufficient for him to eat the remainings of their meal. Proteins (fish meat), balast matters (green vegetables, brans), fat (herbal, non-boiled) and the additives - vitamines and minerals, make the perfect portion for your dog, according, of course, to his age, condition and health: a she-dog nursing a 3-months puppy, a training greyhound, or a pulling dog – do not share the same feeding needs. Proper nutrition, well balanced and rational, will have a preventive effect or even help in curing many diseases. Either you buy food (crackers, canned food..), or you yourself make meals for your dog, be strict with the portions: share the food into 2 separate meals which you would give to your dog at certain times, and do not forget that your dog's food, which doesn't have to be divers, still has to suffice all of his needs, not too poor, not too abundant, in order that your dog would preserve good condition and vitality...during his whole life time.
THE FOOD CHOICE

You can feed your dog in many ways – either on porridge or home made food - made by the owner at home – or on industrialy made food. Complete, not difficult for usage, that food often reaches the perfect nutritional balance. At last, there are other kinds of food, home-made but with industrial additives. A deeper analyses of these different ways of nutrition would help you choose the most appropriate type of food for the dog in your house. What is the most important in his nutrition is the necessity to suffice his needs for the large group of nutritive matters, proportion of which varies depending on his age, condition and health. Each group of nutritive matters should cover these needs.
