ABOUT US

As we truely love hunting, and that love we have inherited from our grandfathers, fathers, uncles, with whom we have lived, we have decided to present the sport, which is really to be loved, as attractively as possible.  'DELLA BUTUA', or 'THE OLD BUDVA' in translation, is the name which we have chosen, as something that has folowed our town history throughout time.

Our very first hunting has been the event which we still cherish in ourselves. The first woodcook which I have killed was 'by the way also the first mistake I have done in my life', for it has made me become fond of hunt and dogs, and dedicate my entire life to hunt and dogs.

We have achieved from our ancestors a huge experience with joy, so we are truying to carry it over to our descendants in that manner.                 

We wish to present hunt in the best and most attractive way to our colleagues in our country and abroad who visit us, thus sharing our experience.

Hunting itself could not give us a full sattisfaction without its assistant, and that is the dog. As experienced experts on hunt and dogs, we have about 40 dogs. They are mostly English hunters – setter and pointer.
Cherishing great love for dogs and hunt we have achieved to establish the breeding house which we have named 'DELLA BUTUA'. With great effort we train dogs for hunt and divers races, where we are accomplishing a lot of success. In our country we are famous for the high quality and good dogs.

We endevour to achieve the best results in practical hunting and also in races (partridge and woodcock) with our dogs. For those who may not be informed, we may say, that one type of races is a certain number of minutes (turnus), when the dog is supposed to find a game, yet staying motionless when hearing a shot..
